All Prospective Baseball Players
All student athletes that are interested in playing Baseball this upcoming season will need to get cleared online. Every student athlete must have a physical and proof of insurance filed in the athletic office before they will be allowed to practice.
Mission Statement:
The Rancho Mirage Baseball Program's mission is to implement a program that fosters long-term development of character, discipline, sportsmanship, community, and work ethic. With these goals in mind, we hope to create better athletes, but more importantly, better young men and students in the process. Given the opportunity, the players will grow both mentally and physically, allowing each player to find success on and off the field.
About the Program:
RMHS Baseball will be starting its 10th overall season as a program, and will be carrying a Varsity, Junior Varsity, and a Frosh/Soph team. Last year the Rattlers finished 2 game from back from making the playoffs in another tough year of the Desert Empire League. This season they will be very inexperienced team with only 2 returners, however this group is very baseball smart. Prior to the start of this season, we have completed our renovation of the baseball diamond, by moving both hose couplers on Varsity and JV Fields to behind the mound, to allow for better access and ease of use. Also during this off-season, we have added a unique "RM" logo to behind our home plate area that brings our Varsity Field to an unmatched level of quality. See the information below for more information about the coaching staff, camps, fundraising and game schedules for all levels.
